Pest control leads

Pest control leads that come to you, not to five companies at once

Every lead you buy is rented. Every customer who finds you on Google is yours. We build the rankings that bring homeowners straight to your phone, and we judge the work by what matters in pest control: signed recurring plans and what each one cost you.

  • Termite swarms: busiest roughly Mar to May
  • Rodents: busiest roughly Oct to Feb
  • Bed bugs: busiest roughly Jun to Sep

Plate 01 / The real cost

Count the cost per signed plan, not per lead

Lead prices are easy to compare and mostly misleading. A cheap lead that five companies also called is expensive if you close one in ten. A pricey exclusive call is cheap if half of them sign a quarterly plan that runs for years.

So we use one number for every source: what you spent to get one signed recurring customer, set against what that customer is worth over the years they stay. Here is the math with example figures. Put in your own.

Worked exampleHypothetical figures
Spend on a lead source this month
$1,200

40

Run the same math for every source you use. Then the customer value calculator fills in the last line.

Plate 02 / Lead sources

Four ways to fill a pest control route

Each has a place. The difference is who owns the customer relationship and what happens when you stop paying.

Source 01For comparison

Shared leads

A lead site sells the same homeowner to several companies. Whoever calls first and cheapest usually wins.

Good for
Fast volume when you have an office that calls back in minutes.
Watch for
You pay for leads you lose. The homeowner remembers the lead site, not you.
Source 02For comparison

Exclusive and pay-per-call leads

You pay for each call or form that goes only to you, usually from the vendor's own ads and pages.

Good for
Predictable, no bidding against other companies on the same lead.
Watch for
Read the contract: lead credits, minimum spend, who owns the tracking number and pages when you leave.
Source 03For comparison

Door-to-door sales

A summer sales team knocks in dense neighborhoods and signs service agreements on the spot.

Good for
Fast growth and route density in the right neighborhoods.
Watch for
Recruiting, commissions and housing; cancellations from customers who felt pushed; homeowners who look you up afterward.
Source 04What we build

Your own rankings

Homeowners find your pages and Business Profile and call you directly. No middleman, no per-lead fee.

Good for
Customers who chose you. Cost per lead falls as rankings grow, and the calls keep coming in the off season.
Watch for
It takes months to build. Start before you need it, and keep something fast running in the meantime.

Plate 03 / Speed

Rankings bring the call. Speed keeps it.

The best page on Google can't help a call that rings out in July. In peak weeks, pest leads go to whoever answers. Before we build anything, we look at how calls and forms are handled: who picks up, what happens after hours, how fast a web form gets a reply.

We also make sure the leads are the right ones. Pages written for "quarterly pest control [town]" and "termite inspection [town]" bring homeowners ready to sign up. Pages that only answer "how to get rid of ants yourself" bring readers. Both have a place, but we put the work where the plans are.

FAQ

Pest control lead questions

How do pest control companies get leads?

The main sources are search (your Business Profile and website), paid ads, lead services, door-to-door sales, referrals from current customers, and neighbors who see your truck or a yard sign. Most growing companies use several. The question is what each costs per signed recurring customer, not per lead.

Are bought pest control leads worth it?

They can be, if you answer fast and the math works per signed plan. Shared leads are cheaper per lead but you split them with other companies. Exclusive leads cost more per lead but close better. Track both against what a recurring customer is worth to you before deciding.

Is door-to-door pest control sales still worth it?

For some companies, yes: it builds route density fast. It also brings recruiting costs, more cancellations and a reputation risk, since many homeowners are wary of door knockers. Whatever you decide, most people look up a company before signing, so your reviews and website help close door-to-door sales too.

How many leads will SEO bring my pest control company?

We won't promise a number, because it depends on your towns, competition and starting point. What we can show is the math: use the customer value calculator to see how many new plans a month would cover a package, then judge the campaign on that.

Do you sell pest control leads?

No. We build your own rankings so the calls come to you directly, with no per-lead fee and no sharing. If you buy leads now, our work runs alongside it and lowers how many you need over time.
